Don’t have a bike? Many rental companies are available to welcome you and offer you the most suitable model: classic or electric, the choice is yours!
To get around in an environmentally-friendly and practical way, take public transport. Baïa buses link all the towns in the southern Basin and drop you off at the foot of the Dune du Pilat and the ocean beaches. Want to discover the Bassin in a different way? The boat bus (summer period) combines business with pleasure, linking the various piers of Arcachon, as do the maritime shuttles to Cap-Ferret or Andernos. You can even bring your bike!
RESPECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
Arcachon’s fragile natural heritage is the focus of all our attention. So on vacation, let’s adopt the right reflexes and reconcile pleasure with respect for the environment. Marveling at nature’s treasures, discreetly observing animals, strolling along marked paths… these are just some of the simple gestures you can make to appreciate the local flora and fauna.
