Since 1969, every year in July, the Cercle de la Voile d’Arcachon organizes
the unmissable 18h à la voile d’Arcachon. On the starting line, nearly a hundred
hundred boats are lined up for 18h of non-stop racing.
This gathering of enthusiasts and amateur sailors is also an opportunity to
to meet some of the great names in ocean racing, such as Yves Parlier,
Yannick Bestaven, Arnaud Boissières and Jean-Marie Dauris.
The key to the 18h’s success is also the eclecticism of the fleet, which for the past three years has welcomed
traditional sailboats for the past 3 years, much to the delight of spectators.
