Arcachon in spring

Tourism 12 months out of 12 in Arcachon!

Arcachon, the city of 4 seasons…each season offers its own surprises and discoveries…

Spring is here, and with it comes the desire to observe the awakening of nature, the desire to go for a walk, the desire to make new discoveries…

Spring is the awakening of flora and fauna, with buds bursting, trees in bloom and the gentle sound of birds, it’s the awakening of the senses…

A bath of vitality awaits you!

What to do in Arcachon in spring?

It’s a time of rebirth for nature, so what better way to discover its many colors and floral scents. Between land, lagoon and ocean, Arcachon is an authentic destination, surrounded by more than 80 km of coastline, beaches and wooded dunes, where you can recharge your batteries. As the days lengthen and the air softens, it’s time to get off the beaten track, on foot or by bike, and recharge your batteries…

It’s time to go sailing or learn to sail with professionals: sailing, sea kayaking, paddle, catamaran, pinasse… a whole range ofwater sports to try out with local people. Sail the peaceful waters of the Bassin to the rhythm of the tides, and let yourself be lulled by the gentle murmur of the lapping waves or the muffled roar of the ocean.

Discover pescatourism and join fishermen and oyster farmers as they reveal the secrets of their trade.

Our tour guides and naturalist guides have concocted a program of guided tours rich in springtime colors: discover the Mauresque park, visit the Camicas forest, visit the traditional or original Ville d’Hiver, visit the Pereire sandbank, visit the port…

Soak up the sun and relax on Arcachon’s 7 kilometers of beach.

Make an impromptu stop in one of our pretty wooden cabins to sample our oysters accompanied by a glass of wine. Rediscover the pleasure of eating local produce and opening your taste buds to the specialties of the Gironde region.

Admire the spectacle of the last light of day reflected on the Bassin in a seafront bar or on the sand.
The colors of the sunset will give you beautiful memories of these precious moments on the Bassin.

Now’s the time to stroll through the charming oyster-farming villages of l’Aiguillon, Gujan-Mestras, Andernos-les-Bains, Cap Ferret, l’Herbe, le Canon or Biganos.
