In Arcachon, everything is possible by bike. With its 22 km of cycle paths along the Bay, connecting the Pointe de l’Aiguillon to Le Moulleau and passing through the heart of the city, Arcachon is a paradise on earth for two-wheeler lovers. You can enjoy an ice cream, listen to a concert, visit an exhibition, take a break at the market, in complete safety.

      If the 22 km of slopes in the city are no longer enough for you, the Bassin d’Arcachon opens its 220 km of slopes connecting each municipality to each other.

      Whether you are alone, with family or friends, take advantage of your trip around the Basin to discover the thousand and one facets of this protected environment. Take the opportunity to enjoy an ice cream, take a break at the market, visit an exhibition, do a selfie in front of the Basin, observe the fauna and flora of the protected areas, discover some of the must-see places in the Bay….

      You can also cross the Bay by boat to visit Cap Ferret, its dunes and ocean beaches. Riding on bicycle paths in the shade of the pines, to the rhythm of the cicada song, is one of the little joys that we like to remember.

       

       

      Are your tires flat?

      Don’t panic. Bike pumps are installed along the track:

      • Arcachon : in Pereire and at the Eyrac pier (wooden track).
      • La Teste de Buch : at Pyla, place Meller (next to the sailing circle) and in Cazaux.
      • Gujan-Mestras : in the Chante-Cigale area and at the multimodal centre of La Hume and on the oak grove trail.
      • Le Teich : at the Town Hall and on the Hyper U track towards Technopôle.
