How did you decide to come to Arcachon for your event?
This convention is an important moment in the life of a company. It federates teams and raises their awareness of a number of issues. In recent years, seminars have been disrupted and, in 2022, participants expressed a strong need to get together by the sea. For the organizers, Arcachon is a place to dream about and a place to unwind. What’s more, Arcachon is very easy to get to, which confirmed the decision to combine practicality with a change of scenery.

Which of the Palais des Congrès’ innovative and CSR attributes are in symbiosis with your commitments?
The Palais des Congrès lived up to our expectations. Its location allowed us to keep transport to a minimum (participants were transported by train, team-building activities took place on the doorstep of the Palais des Congrès, with only a few steps to sail on a low-emission boat, and we were put in touch with local service providers). Outside the working sessions, we were able to combine business with pleasure. We took part in a waste collection activity on the beach. We wanted a meaningful activity to unite our teams and raise their awareness of eco-responsibility in a more general way.

Our proximity to the coast has made this experience possible. We are a company in the industry, where we are committed to offering solutions to meet environmental standards. These commitments that we cultivate on a daily basis don’t stop at the company gates, and it’s essential that our employees maintain a more global vision of CSR commitments, particularly on a regional scale.

Change of scenery, access, experience, quality of service providers, etc.

Would you recommend the Palais des Congrès d’Arcachon to others? If so, why?
Without hesitation, I would recommend the Palais des Congrès d’Arcachon for its location, accessibility, and the service provided by its staff in coordinating the event on a regional scale (putting you in touch with accommodation providers, restaurants and recommending activities in line with our CSR theme).
